Your briefing session starts at the time you have booked for, so best to arrive at the ZAPT Laser Tag reception area about 10 minutes in advance. This is a short walk from the car park, so please allow time for this as well. Please have your booking confirmation ready.
This lasts for 15 minutes and is held outside of the ZAPT Zone, where your laser tag session takes place.
You will have 1 hour in the ZAPT Zone. Your time in the ZAPT Zone includes receiving your laser tag blaster and target set, new game briefings and handing back your equipment before you leave the zone.
View or download our Visual Story for your ZAPT Laser Tag visit.
We can only have a certain number of players per session, so it's always best to book online.
There is no maximum age. Laser tag is a fantastic activity for all adult groups (particularly when you add in Hyper Shock!), and to get everyone in the family taking part in an activity together, from the kids, parents to the grandparents!
We believe in inclusion at ZAPT Laser Tag and will always endeavour to help any individual or group with special requirements to participate. We encourage anyone making a booking where you need some extra assistance to contact us to discuss the laser tag sessions so that we can provide you with any information required, in order for you to decide if this is an appropriate activity for you, or anyone in your care. We restrict non players from entering the game zone, so please discuss any requirements you might have for carers to accompany your player so we can make suitable arrangements. Please contact the centre in advance of your visit to make arrangements.
We welcome all group sizes from 2 or more players. Laser tag is fun however many of your friends or family you are playing with, so don’t worry about bringing an even number either. We will always make sure the teams are well balanced for maximum fun.
Our capacity per session is 30. For larger group sizes, you can split your group with up to 30 taking part in laser tag, the rest taking part in one or more of the other activities on offer at Milton Country Park and then rotate the groups around. Find out more about activities in the park and contact us to discuss options.
Everyone who is playing needs to have a safety waiver on our system. Players who are 15 or under need to have an over 18-year old sign their waiver for them. The adult information is asked for first, and then click to ‘add a minor’. If you are 16 and above, you can fill out your own waiver. Our standard waivers are valid for 12 months, so if you book again with the email you used on your waiver, we will automatically have your waiver. We also have 24-hour waivers that can be used if you are signing for someone on a temporary, short-term basis.
Overall, dress for the weather and for being active in the woods in gear you don’t mind getting dirty. We recommend long trousers, long sleeves tops and closed toed shoes with decent grip.
Bring plenty of water – you can take water bottles into the game zone to drink from during new game briefings.
While a lot of the game zone is under tree cover, apply sun protection as you would for any outdoor activity you take part in.
If your group is wearing face paint, the chances are they won’t want to take it off after the session! However, it is worth bringing make up removal wipes – please dispose of responsibly. Subject to availability, you can also purchase wipes at the venue. Please check any allergies for you and anyone in your group before using.
For players taking part in 'Hyper Shock' (16+ only) please read the below:
Hyper Shock is a completely safe and exciting way to play laser tag where a player can get a mild 'shock' (59VDC) similar to that given by a 'TENS' machine. Use of Hyper Shock requires two disposable pads to be placed directly onto the skin on the back of a player’s shoulders by a member of our team.
Do not use if skin is broken or if more than mild discomfort is experienced. If any of these conditions occur, immediately remove the pads from contact with the skin and unplug the connection to the head sensor assembly.
Hyper Shock is not recommended for persons with pacemakers, implantable cardioverter defibrillators or similar devices. Persons with a history of heart problems, epilepsy, or similar health problems should consult with their doctor before using Hyper Shock.
We have a maximum of 6 Hypershock players per session, and these can be paid for at the start of the session. First come, first served.
We still run our sessions in the rain and you will have just as much fun in the wet as in the dry. Our woodland location gives good cover from the rain and also the sun.
The only time we would cancel sessions is due to extremely high wind speeds. The park rangers at Milton Country Park, where we are based, monitor wind speeds based on the Met Office’s data and inform us with as much notice as possible if the park needs to close and so our sessions need to be cancelled.
Please arrive at the entrance to the ZAPT Zone at least 10 minutes before your session, taking into account paying for parking, going to the toilets, finding and walking to our location within Milton Country Park.
Please have your booking reference or the name on your booking ready. We will check your waivers are completed, and check you in. Your safety briefing starts at the time on your booking.
Depending on when you arrive if you’re running late, we will either be able to let you join the briefing or ask you to join the next available session.
There are over 200 parking spaces at Milton Country Park which are pay and display. Free disabled parking bays are available for blue badge holders. Find out current parking rates - You will need a minimum of 2 hours to cover your ZAPT session.
Public toilets are available at the entrance to the park and at the on-site café, Grounds. We would highly recommend that all of your group visits the toilets before playing to avoid having to take time out of their session to walk to the toilets.
There is a great café in the park, called Grounds, serving fantastic coffee, food and ice cream. Milton Country Park has over 200 acres of woodland, park and recreation space, offering a range of other activities so you can make a whole day of your trip to Zapt Laser Tag.
Due to our outdoor location, we only accept card payments for on-site purchases. We accept Mastercard and Visa credit and debit cards.
Parents / guardians are welcome to take photos of their friends and family at the venue. ZAPT Laser Tag cannot be held responsible for photos taken and used by members of the public. ZAPT Laser Tag promote their business via social media channels. Should you wish to be excluded from any marketing activities please notify a member of staff prior to your laser tag session.
For public laser tag session bookings, you can cancel or amend your booking up to 48 hours in advance of your booking date and get a full refund or a gift voucher.
To cancel your entire party or to reduce the booking size, we require a minimum of 7 days' notice in order to issue a refund.
